Umm... I had an Axil 320 with a ZX and as far as I know Solaris 2.6 
is the latest solaris to support the ZX.  However linux supports it 
beautifully.  It even supports OpenGL 3d acceleration on the ZX. The 
2.6 driver only supports unaccelerated modes.  It WILL do 24 bit but 
SLOWLY and its not worth much.  I switched to linux on that machine, 
performance was generally better.  I hope that helps you.
