Hi Admins,
I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem.

I have a directory which is owned by a user. The user is no longer  in
the department.
My delimma is that as root, or as the user's Id, I can not change the
ownership of the file.
All attribute are correct. However when I try to change the ownership of
the directory, I get an error saying chown;filename: not owner.

Any ideas?
