this would make 192.168.0.0 his defalt router.  that is not what he wishes to
do.  he wants to route all traffic destined for 192.168.0.0/16 over the IP
adress 10.1.1.100.  most likely for a VPN tunnel would be my initial guess.

the correct solution is visited in another message about the boot scripts.
