[SunHELP] adding default route

I think this will work untill next boot if you do not put this statement in
one of rc* scripts.
Alternatively you can create /etc/defaultrouter file ( see man page) and
specify your defaultrouter in /etc/hosts.

I searched through the archives but could find no answer to a pretty simple
question;

How do you activate a change to the default route on a running Solaris 7
box?

A co-worker upgraded a box and it lost the default route. We were able to
configure it, but we had to reboot the machine for it to take effect. There
must be an easy way/procedure to accomplish this without the need for a
reboot.
