[SunHELP] Need help on getting Ultra5

Kevin,

The OpenBoot screen says 128 MB.

I ran a perl script called memconf.pl which came from
this mailing list.

memconf.pl reported that it detected 64 MB in Dimm1
and 64 MB in Dimm2.

So for some reason the OpenBoot can't see the full
capacity of the memory.

I spoke to someone at Crucial.com where I bought the
memory and the rumor is that Sun has a twist on the
EDO dimms. They mentioned something about a 2K or 4K
being the standard refresh, whereas Sun's is 8K.

I don't know what they meant.
I think I need to do some more research.

-Steve
