[SunHELP] how to boot a sparc classic from a cdrom?

i'm trying to install redhat on this little thing.  so, i'm connecting to
it via serial port using mincom on my linux box, i sent a break.   and
then entered at the prompt.

ok boot cdrom
Boot device: /iommu/sbus/espdma at 4,8400000/esp at 4,8800000/sd at 6,0:d   File
and args: 

and it just hangs there.  the cdrom drive works, i just tried it out.  am
i just going about this horribly wrong here... or what?
