Kernel Patch: 106541-15 "successfully" fixes the problem with the CD-ROM not
properly mounting. It also fixes various memory management issues
throughout the system. Kernel Patch; 106541-15 can be downloaded from
http://sunsolve.sun.com <http://sunsolve.sun.com> as of today.

Check to see if vold is running #ps -ef|grep vold
If its not running, start it. #cd /usr/sbin #./vold
Then cd to # cd /cdrom/cdrom0 Try to see the content.
