[SunHELP] Disk image

You won't need to dd the other slices as s2 represents the whole disk.

Your command will do the whole disk as is, but I would add bs=1024k to speed
it up!

So, try:

dd if=/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2 of=/dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s2 bs=1024k

Hi All,

Please help me. I'm not sure if I understand the slicing correct.

If I want two disks with the same image, will it be possible to do:

dd if=/dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2 of=/dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s2

and then dd the rest of the slices without using the format utility to slice
the second disk?
