[SunHELP] metastat error

I have a Netra T1 with two disk drives which is configured so that all
of the slices are mirrored between the two drivers.  Everything seems to
be just dandy with them.  If I type in "metastat" to check on the
mirrors, the information is displayed normally, but if I do a "metastat
-i", the first line of output is "MD_IOCPROBE_DEV: Invalid argument". 
What causes this message?
