[SunHELP] solaris patch cluters.

Hello all,

I have been thinking about installing the solaris 8 patch cluster on my 
sun box but I am concerned that I might screw it up.  You see I am 
running gnu tar, sendmail, bind, and others.  Will the patch notice that 
the sendmail binary is not a sun compiled one and move on, or will it 
try to patch it anyway?

Is there a safe way to handle this without installing every patch one by 
one?
