I usually leave the "loghost" value with the 127.0.0.1 (loopback) address.
Eve so, everything looks fine. Double check your IP address, subnet masks,
defaulter router, broadcast address, etc.

Subject: [SunHELP] Default gateway cannot be set
Hi
I am working on Ultra60 to join it into our developing embironment.
I changed ipaddress by
ifconfig hmeX 192.xxx.xxx.xxx netmask 255.x.x.x broadcast 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
ifconfig hmeX down
ifconfig hmeX up
I set hostname to Ultra60 by configuring
/etc/hosts/
192.xxx.xxx.xxx sample sample. loghost
/etc/hostname.hme0
sample
/etc/defaultrouter
192.xxx.xxx.xyz
After the configuration, I rebooted Ultra60.
While it was rebooted, the message ingicated the bad hostname and
defaultgateway has not been set.
Interface also lost the latest ipconfiguration.
I want to configure the network correctly.
If there are part that I am missing to do, plese tell me what is wrong.
Thanks
