I use Big Brother (www.bb4.com) which is a system and network monitoring
tool. It is easy to write add-in scripts and I have written one to measure
the psu and board temperatures using parsed output from:

/usr/platform/`/usr/bin/uname -m`/sbin/prtdiag -v
