[SunHELP] Weird screen blank problem in Solaris 8

I bet you need to disable the power management daemon.

Hi,

I've a SPARCstation 20 running Solaris 8 with a recent 'recommended'
set of patches.

Before I created any user accounts up on the machine I logged into X
as root. The second time the screen blanked in the X session I was
unable to unblank the screen except for a white dot cursor. Normal
users don't seem to get this problem, only root on the second screen
blank.

Has anyone else seen this odd problem?
