Add the following entries to the end of the /etc/system
* changed hard/soft file descriptor limits
set rlim_fd_max = 4096
set rlim_fd_cur = 1024
save the file and reboot. The above numbers can be increased as needed but
I suggest that you start with those first.

compiling software on Solaris? Which file I should modify? Do I need to
