FWIW..
I've had alot of headaches using CD Rom's with Solaris so I can share what
I've had to do from time to time..
First, try your basic "eject cdrom"
1 out of 5 times maybe that works for me.
next, since the thing is "busy", kill the process which has it:
fuser -k /cdrom/cdrom0 (-k to kill process)
sometimes this works.=20
When all else fails, I bounce volume management.
/etc/init.d/volmgt stop
manually eject the disk=20
/etc/init.d/volmgt start
This one never fails, and IMHO it beats rebooting.
HTH,
Joe
