I am using the onboard video of an SS20 with an 8MB VSIMM using Sol7 with
good
results. It has dual ROSS 100mhz cpus.

Subject: [SunHELP] SS20 Onboard video.
I've been doing some digging, but I haven't been able to get any conclusive
answers on this, so thought I'd see if you folks had any suggestions.
I currently have an SS10 with a Ross 125mhz CPU and a ZX (non turbo) frame
buffer, and I'm finding the video speed to be too slow. I'm considering
moving the guts of the SS10 over an SS20, but I've got a couple of
questions...
Is the onboard video on an SS20 supported under 2.6, 2.7 and or 8?
With the same speed CPU, would this frame buffer significantly faster than a
ZX (non turbo) board in an SS10?
Thanks!
- Nick
