[Sunhelp] Help with serial

Hello. I hope someone can help me.

I have 11 servers to take care of and all of them require me to use serial
 terminal for console. I have searched high an wide and cannot find any 
information on how (if it possible) I would setup serial ports on my servers to keep system up when I plug or unplug my serial cable. Systems go down to OK 
every single time connection on the port changes.

Please help.
