[Sunhelp] unable to create directory

Uhm, /home is designed to be the mount point for automounted home directories
(when using something such as NIS or NIS+).  Unless you're doing something in
there in your automounted home directory, BAD MONKEY.

On the other hand, if that IS the case, is it possible that the home directories
are mounted read-only?
