Your /dev/dsk/c1d0s0 is pointing to a different device path:
../../devices/isa/ata at 1,170/cmdk at 0,0:a.
and your CD-ROM is pointing to this path:
isa/ata at 170,0/cmdk at 0,0:a.
see the difference? I don't know if this is a typo error
do a ls -l on /dev/dsk and look for this link path isa/ata at 170,0/cmdk at 0,0:a.
That should be your CDROM.
