[Sunhelp] How can I get the reason for server unexpected rebooting

Hello,

#grep -i fatal /var/adm/message*
no output comes.

#/usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag -v
no failure found after "IO Cards" and before "Environmental Status".

Try this:

# grep -i fatal /var/adm/messages

If this returns a line with "FATAL error fatal" There will be no core dump.

# /usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdial -v

Look for any failures found after "IO Cards" and before "Environmental
Status".
There may be some indication as to the cause here.
