Hi,
Check for the following.
1) Are you having slow and fast scsi devices on the same bus?
2) Is the bus too long? ie. too many devices.
3) If the ans is no to the above two, then just clean the connectors at the
either end of the cable and plug back firmly.
This has worked for me most of the time. However I am not sure about the
Quantum disk drive.

I have a QUANTUM-FIREBALL_TM3200S-300X hard disk in my Sparcstation 10
and I am running into these problems:

Is there any known problems between this hard disk and my sparc? I
remember reading somewhere something about quantum drives and
sparcstations but I can't remember where.
