[Sunhelp] Solaris 7 Help

Hi,
   Thanks for the inputs. But even after doing touch utmp utmpx it again
gives me the same msgs and halts. Any other things I'll have to do or 'am I
missing something here. Pls help me as it's very critical that this server
is up.

I did
OK>boot cdrom
started a console 
mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /mnt
cd /mnt/var/adm
mv utmp utmp.old
mv utmpx utmpx.old
touch utmp utmpx
chmod 644 utmp utmpx
chown root:bin utmp utmpx
cd /
umount /mnt
reboot
