Hi,

This is usually a permissions thing. Check ownerships/access/nfs mount perms
of your login
directory.

Cheers

Joe

Subject: [SunHELP] Using Remote login

Im using X-Win32 XServer to login my SS20 remotely.
The login process work fine, but when CDE open
it give me this error:

DT messaging system could not be start.

1. click OK to close session
2. use failsafe session to modify those file.
3. Check to see that the hostname is correct in these locations:
/etc/src.sh
/etc/inet/hosts
/usr/adm/inted.sec

for additional info see DT User,'s guide

I've looked at CDE user's guide and advanced user gide
but It doesn't mention problem with messaging system and how
to solve the problem. I've also looked at the CDE FAQ
but It can't help either.

Can someone can ??
