For get the information that is actually stored on the tape

ufsrestore -ivf /dev/rmt/?
ufsrestore>ls

backups of different servers on the same tape

first you have to skip the existing backups on the tape.
Eq:
mt -f /dev/rmt/? fsf <number>
then use ufsdump
