I used to know how to do this but its been a long time.

Can someone give me the correct syntax using tar/gnutar for transferring
the entire
contents of one hard drive to another all in one go preserving all
links. basically
tar'ing contents -> piping -> untar'ing in new disk.

The disks are the same size with the original all full so tar'ing to a
file and then
untar'ing wont work.
