[Sunhelp] too many clients

Hi all,

I'm having a problem where I get this message, when I try to open a new window:

Xlib: connection to "tahiti:0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Maximum number of clients reached
XView error: Cannot open connection to window server: tahiti:0 (Server package)

I am not sure why it is occuring as I don't have many windows open on the
desktop.
Does anyone know of a way of listing the clients that are open and what I could
do to rectify this problem.

Currently I restart the Xsession, but this is a bit drastic and annoying.
