you don't need a static ip to telnet

see www.dtdns.com and use the bbsip script on a cron job

first rule: don't tell them you have Unix system.  They don't need to know
that.  IP traffic is IP traffic...whether you have a Mac or a E10000.  You
pay for *bandwidth* not for what kind of traffic you pass.  If they
oversusbscribe their network (really why they want you to buy a 512K
pipe), that's not your fault.

Tell them you've changed your mind and will run your Win98 PC instead.
