[Sunhelp] How do I make permanent route settings?

I don't know a lot about Solaris,
but since it's family with linux.

You should add the route entre to your startup script
in linux it would be located somewhere in
network or rc.local
int the /etc/rc.d/init.d/ directory

just try to find its equyvalent in the Solaris world
