[Sunhelp] routing performance question

i have a SUN SPARCstation 5 with a 70Mhz CPU and 160MB RAM.  it has three
10Mbps Half-Duplex ethernet interfaces on it (le[0-2])

le0 is hooked up to an ADSL modem/bridge, so i don't think i will ever have
a problem with speeds on that side.

le1 and le2 are both hooked up to ethernet (each is hooked up to a 10/100
auto-sensing switch) and watching the traffic across those two with mrtg, i 
only ever see a max speed of 5Mbps when transfering large files.

is this a limitation of the sparc5, or is there something else going on?
