I posted a question a few days re: problems in getting a non-Sun keyboard to
recognize a Stop-A (break). It turns out that the problem was with my
terminal server setup. I'm using a Lantronix LRS16. The Sun server was
connected to port 14. According to the LRS16 manual you can telnet directly
to any port by using "30xx". So I was telnet'ing to 3014. I would connect
to the Sun just fine but I could not get the Sun to recognize a break key no
matter what I tried. Finally I was able to contact someone in Tech Support
at Lantronix. They told me that there was another way to telnet to a
terminal server port, specifically using "20xx". Apparently the "2000"
extension was a "non-clean" telnet, the "3000" extension is a "clean" telnet
that does not interpret any data. I'm still not sure I understand what the
heck they were talking about, but using "2014" worked whereas "3014" did
not.

Thanks to everyone who wrote and told me that "break" should work for
"stop-A". You all were right, I just wasn't getting the break recognized.
