Not fancy, but will get the job done. Sends the contents of the file as the
body of the message- not sure if that's what you were looking for.
cat message.txt | mailx -s "Subject" person at address

Subject: [Sunhelp] Command line mailer
Does anyone know of a command line mailer that can be used to specify a file
attachment? I'm thinking something along the lines of: % echo "Message" |
ailer -s "Subject" -a attachment.txt person at address
This would be using a Solaris 2.6 or 7 system.
Thanks,
Dave
