Amen! I have just entered my $.02 on http://www.sun.com [1] comment page ,
and expect my automated response shortly ;-). Will see what other avenues
Sun has open for me to lodge complaints about this.
Bill, this site has proven to be an invaluable resource especially as a
fairley new ( < 4 yrs ) sysadmin. It has especially helped during quite a
few of those "oh shit" attacks at 5:00pm on a Friday (pardon the French for
any of those non-bilinguals on the list). As well as when trying to convert
the MS demons that have haunted my various places of employment. Makes me
wonder if I was perhaps just a Sun demon(daemon) myself?
Thanks again.

It's always nice to know that something out there to help the general public
is so warmly accepted by corporations. I really appreciate the fact that a
large group of people gathered together to focus on one companies products,
and to further promote good will about their products is appreciated by
company and repaid with legal threats, corporate bullying, and scare
tactics. Is it entertaining that a company would make one HELL of an effort
to cut off it's nose in spite of it's face? I wonder what USENIX would
think about this? How about slashdot?
Bill, keep up the good work, and thanks for everything you've done for all
of us. We just hope it can continue.
Hal
