[Sunhelp] problem with e150 -

one of our sysadmins who has been here forever shed some light on this.
Aparently, even though it is a server and has no framebuffer, you have to
plug a keyboard in it, and hold down the power key on the keyboard, while
turning the rest of the unit on. pretty stupid for a server. Anyone know
how to bypass this? are there any openboot variables that I could change
to allow it to just look for the console? I have a feeling that the power
switch on the back means nothing to the system board, it just turns power
on the the entire unit, then depressing the power key on a keyboard turns
on the ultra. It sorta sucks cause you have to unplug the keyboard as
soon as you hear the beep so you can use the console!
man this thing is full of styrofoam - it is really a disgrace, when you
think of how much this unit went for a couple years ago.
thanks for the help, let me know if anyone thinks of anything else.
