Ohhh, brudder, let me tell you about Aerotek...
First, they misreported my income, so I owed the IRS $350 bucks. Then,
there was the time they threatened to "take firm action" because I was
"misusing the network" at a client site. They had "over 800 emails on file
coming into my account." I was subscribed to three Mac mailing lists (the
position was for a mac-related job), and had, perhaps, a dozen outgoing
mails in the three months the contract lasted. I explained this to them
multiple times. I finally got tired of explaining to the bozos what a
mailing list was, so I quit and told them I'd sue their ass off if they
witheld my pay. Regardless, I still got calls constantly, wanting to know my
"availability", and they didn't stop until I moved.
Not gonna do the consulting gig again. Been there, done that, attended
the support groupp.
