Paul,

I took the tests in Australia, they cost about $250 each. I didn't do 
any of the courses, too expensive! If you have well rounded experience 
with UNIX System Administration and Sun/Solaris you should be ok. A 
usefule link is http://www.cramsession.com for some notes based on the 
exam topics. Don't rely on these only though, you'll need to check the 
references.
