[Sunhelp] Solaris 8 and LDAP

Apparently there is a process for this on docs.sun.com...

I couldn't find it there... But that where my sun contact said it was
there. For the time being the instructions are a bit convoluted. There
should be an update soon and posted on docs.sun.com

What you do is install i-Planet Directory server on a sun machine...
Configure the directory server, add the accounts and  then configure
solaris 8 to authenticate via LDAP.

I have not yet done it, but it we hope to get it installed and tested by
Sept. 2000.

Apparently the licensing is free as long as your under 250 000 users...
