ahh, good. that part number helps, i was thinking of a different product. you still do
not connect that
device to any serial port. your computer (and any others that you wish to access this
connection)
connects to it via ethernet (RJ45). Your "modem" is just an analog router. Your router has
a
web inteface for administration/setup that you access with a web browser from any machine
that you
connect to it. Plug in your ISP's information and it (the router) will dial into your ISP
anytime that
it senses network access (dial on demand feature).
