[Sunhelp] VCS on SUN E4500s

Has anyone run into a situation where VCS does not fail over properly because
the virtual IP will not instantiate on the adoptive (take-over) node?  The
configuration looks good with the IP resource specifying the appropriate IP
address, the device pointing to the qfe1 interface ( which happens to be the
same interface unfortunately as the static server IP), and the netmask defined
properly.  The log files, VCS and messages, leave no hint as to why the adoptive
node does not initialize appropriately on qfe1:1.  Subsequently, the fail over
functions properly until the listener process attempts to access the IP resource
for binding.  Any constructive suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
