[Sunhelp] Socket Hangs

We have a third party application that hangs a socket. Once the socket
is hung,
the only way to clear it has been to reboot the server. Does anyone
know how
we can take control of this socket so we can close. Rebooting the
server is
not the way we would like to do this.
