Are you using suEXEC?  If so, read the documentation for this very
carefully indeed. In fact, I couldn't find a way to get the darned thing
working without setting up virtual hosts for it to use.

If not try:
1.  The documentation area of the apache web site. (RTFM???)

2. One of the internet newsgroups, (if you ain't got a news feed,
you can always use Deja or one of the other HTML news-feeders.

3. This list?

If you want, I'd be willing to TRY and help. I'm running a small Apache
install with suEXEC and mod_perl installed on AIX (IBM's Unix). But,
I guess the concepts would be the same.
