[Sunhelp] Install error message

Hi All,
I am trying to install the gzip source on my solris 2.6 system.
I type teh command :
#/usr/ccs/bin/make install
in the source files directory. I got these error messages:
/usr/ucb/cc: language optional software package not installed
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal Error : Command failed for target 'gzip.o'

Where to get requested packages and how to install them ?
what happen with make ?
