Depends on who's buying it?  :-)

I'll be the devil's advocate here, and say 1.  Although the 2nd is
definately a beefier machine, the first one is a Tower AFAIK, which you can
put on the floor.

More desk space!!  (a rare commodity here with all this paperwork i've
committed to desktop archival)
