What are your requirements?  Text mode, gui, drag-n-drop?  mutt is said
to be a really nice text mailer.  Balsa is very nice if you want a GUI
and are using local mail or pop3.  I'm using a development client called
"Evolution" right now, but it's a bit of a hassle to get up and running.
