If you are looking for new m/c, an ultra 5 with 128 mb RAM with 9 gb hdd wil
do the job. If you are looking for only learning OS, people still use
SPARC5's,10's and 20's. These are no more manufactured but solid
workstations. should be available on "ebay".

I want to add Sun H/W and Solaris to my list of
skills.

To that end I wanted to buy a Sun sparc for academic
purposes and would like to know a reasonable
