[Sunhelp] RAID and other Disk questions

So.... any raid 5 hardware solution ideas? I think we're going to look 
for a hardware solution for one box and a software solution for the 
other. I'd also be interested in the 'stress test' type software that 
suhas.kamble was talking about, I'd love to test the limits of some 
servers. Thanks in advance.

To run RAID 5? I would recommend you to do get a piece of hardware
that can take care of it, software RAID 5 is quite bad in terms of 
performance.

So software RAID 5 is mainly an option if you dont need very good 
performance.

Solaris is boundled with Solstice DiskSuite, which support RAID 5.

Its boundled with Solaris on the CD labeled "Easy Access", unless 
you have Sol 8, then you have it in a directory called EA on cd #2.
