Won't make a difference to me - I'm still using good ole olwm et al! CDE is too
much of a resource thief for
my liking, so not good to run on servers. I've heard that GNOME's pretty 'fat'
too,and that KDE was
better in this respect, although not nearly as good to use.
Oh why won't someone port 4dwm and IndigoMagic from Silicon Graphics (I REFUSE
to call them 'sgi')?
Even bigger than CDE, a pig to write for, but darned nice to use 8 hours a day,
(and that way Sun would have
to install 24bit frame buffers as standard in E series boxes!).
Just my opinion and probably wrong..... ;-)
