[Sunhelp] $39 Symbios PCI card in Ultra10

I picked up one of the $39 Symbios SYM8251s PCI cards from 
www.centrix-intl.com after James Lockwood mentioned them, and installed it 
in my U10 along with my new Creator 2D card (Thanks for helping find the 
Creator, James!).

First off, I found out that you dont have to set the system to use the 
Creator card by default - apparently anything going in the UPA slot 
automatically overrides the built-in 8bit video for the console.  This is
good, no more "setenv pci-probe-list"s!

Second, I dont know whether this PCI card is supported or not.  I've got
it installed, the Sun (eeech, "Goldstar"!  talk about using SHITTY PARTS!)
IDE CD-ROM drive removed, and a Plextor PX-12TSi (12x) CD-ROM put in its 
place, at ID 6, connected via a 50-pin narrow SCSI ribbon cable (with 3
connectors) to the card.

At the OpenBoot ROM, "probe-scsi" comes back to an "ok" prompt
immediately.  "probe-scsi-all" shows the Plextor CD-ROM drive at 
ID6, which is correct.

However, when I booted (this was with the beta version of Solaris 8
installed), I got the following.  Should I assume that this card *isnt*
supported, or should I throw the IDE drive back in and reinstall Sol8 final?
Right now the system has a SCSI cd-rom drive (currently inaccessable due to
this problem) and the original IDE drive (Seagate 4.5gig) installed.

Here's what I get when I do a probe-scsi-all:

I've tried to get the system to boot from the plextor, but I dont think I've
got the syntax right - I've tried this:

Boto device: /pci at 1f,0/pci at 1/scsi at 2,6	File and args:

Can't open boot device

Suggestions?  I was really hoping that this card would work so I could then
find a decent 4gig SCSI HD and get rid of everything IDE in this box.

If this DOESENT work, anybody have a decently fast 8.4gig (or larger) 
IDE HD that they'll swap for a PCI SCSI controller card and a Plextor 12x
beige-face tray-loading CD-ROM?
