[Sunhelp] [SunRescue] Kernel hacking

More questions:

How hard is it to hack a Solaris kernel to change the device names,
and am I asking more trouble than it's worth?  I have a SPARCbook 2
I'd like to put Solaris 2.3 on (don't need a GUI, command line is perfect),
but it appears the device names are different than subsequent releases
of the SPARCbook.

Someone suggested I need to change the device names for the SCSI devices,
etc, but I don't quite know where to start.
