Cheers for the response, they are definatly bar'ed I
know this because I can unbar them on a SunOS machine
which I got a hold of.
The problems I am having are the following:
When I copy the bar command to a Solaris machine it
works for the first disk then quits after I put the
new disk in and press return. (I know I did'nt expect
it to work)
With cpio it only extracts the last file, but seems
to put all the file information into that file. It
goes through all the disks ok. (on a non manual
floppy)
On a manual floppy cpio quits after the first disk.
I'm not sure I am doing the command correctly:
cpio -ivdH bar < /dev/rfd0a
sorry if this is a bit long winded kinda several
things.
1. manual floppy eject problem with cpio.
2. cpio command not extracting all the archived files
on a non manual eject
Cheers again
Ben.
