[Sunhelp] Advice on rackmounting SSA114

Hi, I have 2 old SSA 114 storage arrays.
I'd like to rackmount these into some generic 19" racks.

If anybody else has done this, and you have time, please advise.

     What is the minimum width clearance once the fins have been removed from
the sides of the units ??

     Is there an easy way to get the fins off the units ??
